Wiens {Belonging} - Three Hills Family Photographer

I owe these guys a lot :)  They were the first (non-family-member) to ask me to take photos for MONEY!!!  They are great neighbours (Molly only managed to get inside our house once, and hey, she was just a puppy).  Shelby and Jana have looked after my boys countless times, and we miss their visits!  I look up to Liz as a nurse and value her as a friend.  Dave and Sean, these ladies wouldn't be who they are without you :)

I was honoured to be asked to take the Wiens' family photos for a second time - your family bond is beautiful, and proven strong.

Celebrate {Birthday}

I don't sing his praises often enough.  

He is patient.  When I get frustrated, he takes over with calmness.

He is committed.  To his wife, to his family, to his job.  To his God.

He is faithful.  To me, to us.  To his promises.

He is silly.  Wrestles and tickles and snuggles.  And giggles.

He gives.  Even when it hurts.

He leads.  Head of our pack.

He loves.  With sacrifice, every day.

I was pleased as punch when Janelle asked if I would take their family photos this Fall!  The wind was blowing and the girls were "freezing" (they hijacked some blankets at the end of the session and cuddled up in the grass), but their smiles were at the ready :)  And what's a photo session without some spontaneous hugs???

Sunday Confessional - October 6, 2013

Each year in October, a much-anticipated event occurs.  Millions of people declare their love.  And I don't mean the beginning of the regular season of NHL hockey.  I'm talking about the return of the 

PUMPKIN SPICE LATTE.

And to be honest, I just don't get it - all the hype, the PSL 10 cups, the home recipes.  I guess I don't like pumpkin spice lattes.

I just like my coffee
