Ian & Rebecca {Bond} -

Spring weather in Alberta can be unpredictable, so tying the knot in May requires a certain degree of flexibility.  As one who celebrated an anniversary this month, I would know!  Ian and Rebecca's day dawned with, but was not limited to, a beautiful blue sky.   Thankfully the rain and snow held off until we were all happily enjoying our tasty Moroccan dinner in the warmth of the church.

Ian (who graduated 2 days before the wedding  - you can call him Dr. Ian now) and Rebecca (with her Masters of International Development) are looking at spending the next 4 years in Ontario where Ian will complete his residency in paediatrics.  After that, who knows, although both Dr. and Mrs. Frankish anticipate their next stop will be on the African continent.

Every detail of their day had a story or personal touch, from the African recessional music, to the centrepiece fabric at dinner, to the homemade pies and tea bar.  Their commitment to marriage was made evident through the words spoken during the ceremony, and the support and love of their family and friends was warmly felt throughout the day.

Congratulations, Ian and Bex!  Enjoy your time in Morocco, Niger, and Turkey!

Rebecca surprised Ian with these boots!
